Golf lovers flock to Alicante and Murcia in Southern Spain to make the most of the region’s fantastic golf courses and endless sunshine. With its very own micro-climate and over 300 days of sunshine per year, what better place for a golf lover to buy a property in Spain.

Alicante and Murcia are home to some of Spain’s best golf resorts including La Manga Club, Las Colinas Golf & Country Club, Alicante Golf Club and Lo Romero. Many of the resorts have been designed by famous former players (including Seve Ballesteros, José María Olazábal and Jack Nicklaus) and can be characterised by their pristine fairways and greens.

The natural beauty of Southern Spain makes these resorts some of the most scenic in Europe, with fabulous views over the Costa Blanca and towards the mountainous regions further north.

Keen golfers will love the variety of courses to choose from and there is something for everyone, from beginner level to the golfing experts. And don’t worry, the rest of the family has not been forgotten as most of the clubs have wonderful spas, children’s clubs, tennis courts, access to the beach and swimming pools.

With such excellent year-round weather conditions, golfers can play 365 days per year in Alicante and Murcia. The quieter autumn and winter months are particularly special, when the tourists go home and the temperature is a balmy 17 – 20 degrees Celsius.
